What started as a vision for in-house laser tattoo removal quickly evolved into something much more.

Kamren, already established in the world of permanent cosmetics, was determined to offer her clients laser removal services under the same roof. Years earlier, she connected with Cayley, a Registered Nurse and experienced laser technician at another local medspa. The two stayed in touch, sharing a mutual goal: to bring the powerful results of a Picolaser directly to their clients. After years of dreaming, planning, and persistence—they finally made it happen.

As the vision came to life, it became clear that the laser was just the beginning. They saw an opportunity to create something bigger: a medspa that blends cutting-edge aesthetics and wellness. That’s when Kamren knew exactly who to call—Carly, a Nurse Practitioner whose genuine passion for women’s health and wellness made her the perfect person to help shape this next chapter.

Together, Kamren, Cayley, and Carly have built more than just a medspa. They’ve created a welcoming space where clients can feel confident and cared for—offering services that are both highly effective and thoughtfully curated. Renew Room operates under the medical direction of Dr. Bharat Kathakota, MD, a highly experienced physician who oversees multiple medspas across California. His extensive expertise in aesthetic medicine ensures our clients receive safe, effective, and medically sound care at every step.

  • Cayley Cline has been a registered nurse since 2016, with a well-rounded background in both medical aesthetics and acute hospital care. Her clinical experience includes working in aesthetic practices as well as high-acuity hospital settings, ranging from med-surg to critical care, including serving in critical care units throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Since 2022, Cayley has dedicated herself fully to the wellness and aesthetics field, where her true passion lies. She specializes in advanced laser and radiofrequency technologies and currently serves as a national clinical nurse educator for Cynosure Lutronic. In this role, she trains physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses across the country on the safe and effective use of leading aesthetic devices, many of which are offered at Renew Room.

    Cayley brings together extensive clinical expertise and a genuine passion for helping clients feel confident and radiant in their skin. Her treatments include neuromodulators, microneedling, chemical peels, natural plasma-based fillers, IV therapy, laser procedures, and medical-grade skincare.

  • Carly has an extensive background in clinical research and nursing, with experience in inpatient care on an acute post-surgical ward. She has also worked as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) across various specialties, including Lung Transplant. Her time in acute and critical care at UCSF strengthened her ability to treat a wide range of patient needs with confidence and expertise. Additionally, Carly has served as a clinical instructor for nursing students, where she discovered a passion for teaching and patient education. This diverse experience informs her holistic approach to patient care.

    After navigating the journey of motherhood with three children, Carly became acutely aware of the gaps in maternal and women’s healthcare. This personal experience sparked her passion to help bridge those gaps and provide holistic care for women. Now, Carly is dedicated to offering comprehensive care that not only supports women through pregnancy and postpartum but also through other phases of life, including menopause. Her goal is to empower women to feel renewed and supported with whole-woman care, addressing both physical and emotional health.

  • Dr. Bharat Kothakota is a distinguished board-certified Emergency Physician with over a decade of experience, showcasing a profound commitment to healthcare. With a background spanning a decade in Emergency Medicine, he has served as a Medical Director for both the Emergency Department and a Concierge Practice, amassing over six years of leadership expertise.


    In the realm of Aesthetic Medicine, Dr. Kothakota has dedicated five years to honing his skills. As the Owner and Medical Director of a thriving Medical Spa in Santa Monica since 2021, he has become a prominent figure in the aesthetics community.


    His aesthetic journey is marked by extensive training and certifications, notably in Botox and Fillers. Dr. Kothakota has undergone advanced training with industry leaders such as Allergan and Galderma. Proficient in cutting-edge technologies, he excels in Morpheus 8 and Morpheus body treatments, showcasing a high level of expertise. His proficiency extends to InMode's Morpheus 8, Morpheus body, Evolve, and Lumecca IPL.


    Dr. Kothakota has established his practice as one of the leading Coolsculpting centers on the Westside of Los Angeles, with extensive training from Allergan. His skills also encompass various aesthetic procedures, including Clear and Brilliant, Microneedling, PRP Hair Restoration, and PRP tear trough.


    Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Kothakota is an innovator. He has developed a physician-supervised weight loss program in collaboration with Mounjaro and Ozempic, currently benefiting over 40 enrolled patients.


    Currently, he serves as the Medical Director and Owner of Self Care LA, spearheading its growth and success. Additionally, he holds the position of Medical Director at Beyond Harmony, showcasing his leadership in diverse medical settings. Dr. Bharat Kothakota's multidimensional expertise and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable collaborator for any med spa or aesthetic practice.
